Collages and drawings based on collages. In this series Serlin examines the racist view towards the Barbarian woman as she found in public archives. In her search through the archives, Serlin found pictures of her family in the village Tinrir in the Atlas Mountains. By using displacement she plants the images in a new space and context in order to create a correction and a new reading of these women.
